DAY 01:

UK- KATHMANDU:

Depart UK to Kathmandu. (Dinner on Flight)

DAY 02:

KATHMANDU ARRIVAL

Arrival in Kathmandu. You will be met at the airport & transferred to Hotel. Evening tour briefing. (Dinner)

DAY 03:

KATHMANDU- POKHARA- VIA MANOKAMNA

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara stopping en route at Kurintar for Cable car ride (subject to availability) to MANOKAMNA TEMPLE – "Wish Fulfilling Goddess". After visiting temple we descend to the highway and proceed to Pokhara. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight at Hotel - Kathmandu to Pokhara: 200 km | 7 hours drive

DAY 04:

FLIGHT; POKHARA TO JOMSOM

After breakfast, we transfer you to Pokhara airport for your flight to Jomsom. Flight from Pokhara to Jomsom often operates in the morning time because the weather in the mountain area will be clear with less wind. It takes about 25 minutes to reach Jomsom and another 45 minutes will require to reach Muktinath by Jeep. After doing snan and Pooja; you will return back to Jomsom for overnight stay. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight at Guesthouse- - Pokhara to Jomsom flight: 25 minutes - Aircraft type: Dronier or twin otter - Carrying capacity: 15 passengers - Jomsom to Muktinath: 45 minutes by Jeep - Altitude of Muktinath: 3710 m. | 12,170 ft. - Altitude of Jomsom: 2700 m. | 8856 ft.

DAY 05:

FLIGHT; JOMSOM- POKHARA + SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Early morning fly back to Pokhara. Afternoon you will do sightseeing tour around the city. Today, we will show you Barahi temple, Davis fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave and Vindvasini temple. Evening free time on your own. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight at Hotel

DAY 06:

POKHARA- VALMIKI ASHRAM- CHITWAN:

After breakfast, check-out and you will proceed to Chitwan National Park. On the way, visit Valmiki Ashram (also known as ‘DEVGHAT’). Evening halt at a Resort in Chitwan National park. Enjoy the evening with live Tharu culture Dance. Tharu are the native people of Chitwan. They are known as the Malaria proof people. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Pokhara- VALMIKI ASHRAM- Chitwan National Park (Sauraha)- 140 km | 4 hours - Overnight at Hotel

DAY 07:

CHITWAN – JANAKPUR DHAM

Morning after breakfast, you will proceed to Janakpur via East-West highway of Nepal. Janaki Mandir is a Hindu temple of Janakpur in Mithila region of Nepal, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Sita. It is the primary temple of Maithali native indigenous to Nepal. It is an example of 'Hindu-Rajput' Nepali architecture. It is often considered the most important model of Rajput architecture in Nepal. Fully built in bright white and constructed in an area of 4,860 sq. feet in a mixed style of Islamic and Rajput domes, the temple is 50 meters high. It is a three-storied structure made entirely of stone and marble. According to legends and epics, King Janak ruled this area (called Videha) during the Ramayana period. His daughter Janaki (Sita), during her swyambar, had chosen Lord Rama as her husband, and become queen of Ayodhya. There marriage ceremony had occurred in the nearby Temple. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight at Hotel - Chitwan to Janakpur: 251 km | 6 hours drive

Day 08:

JANAKPUR- KATHMANDU

In the morning, darshan at Janaki Mandir. Later on you will fly to Kathmandu. We will transfer to hotel and do preparation for the next day. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight Hotel - Janakpur- Kathmandu: 35 minutes flight

Day 09:

KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Morning after breakfast, you will set off for sightseeing tour. You will visit Pashupatinath temple (the most sacred temple of Hindus), Mata Guheswori temple & Budhanilkantha temple (Shesh Shaiya Vishnu, also known as sleeping Vishnu). Overnight Stay (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 10:

KATHMANDU – NEPAL GANJ:

After breakfast, check-out from hotel. Transfer to Kathmandu airport for flight to Nepalganj. Arrival, Check-in at Guest House. Overnight Stay. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Kathmandu to Nepalgunj flight: 1 hour

DAY 11:

NEPALGANJ -SIMIKOT & OVERNIGHT STAY

Early morning (5 a.m.) check out & transfer to Nepalgunj airport for your flight to Simikot. The flight between Nepalgunj and Simikot takes about an hour. The air route to Simikot passes over the remote mountain region of Nepal where weather often gets cloudy and notorious. Generally, the weather in the mountain area, in the early morning, is calm and clear. This is the reason why we should fly to Simikot early morning. Simikot is situated at an altitude of 2910 m., this is also an ideal place to make a night halt for acclimatization motive.. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Simikot : Guesthouse - Nepalgunj to Simikot flight: 1 hour - Aircraft type: Dronier or Twin otter - Carrying capacity: Only 15- 18 people at a time.

DAY 12:

SIMIKOT-HILSA-TAKLAKOT

Early morning from Simikot airport; we board on Helicopter and continue fly to HILSA (the border town of Nepal and China). It takes about 25 minutes (one way) to reach HILSA. The flight route passes through deep Karnali River-gorge and narrow remote valleys, where weather normally turns windy & cloudy from late morning onward. We operate Euro copter that can carry only 4-5 persons + 12 kg luggage at a time. Since, helicopter has limited capacity to carry in higher altitude, WE STRONGLY ADVISE ALL OUR PASSEGERS TO KEEP THE LUGGAGE WEIGHT WITHIN 12 KG. This is including hand bag. After all group members shifted to HILSA by helicopter, you will cross the border then drive to Taklakot (Purang). As per the visa rule of the Chinese government, all group members should enter together and exit together. So, until and unless all members do not come to Hilsa, no one can cross the border. The drive from Hilsa to Taklakot takes about 45 minutes. The driving distance is about 27 k.m. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Taklakot: Guesthouse - - Simikot to Hilsa: by helicopter - Flight duration: 25 minutes (one way) - Carrying capacity: 4-5 persons + 12 kg baggage each. - Hilsa to Chinese immigration (Sher village): only 10 minutes walk. - Sher to Taklakot: 27 km | 45 minutes drive by Bus. - Elevation of Taklakot: 4025 m. | 13202 fts.

DAY 13:

TAKLAKOT TO LAKE MANSAROVAR

As usual, after having morning meal, check-out and proceed to Holy Lake Mansarovar. We continue our yatra on vehicle to make circumambulation around the Lake and perform Homa and Pooja on the way. The entire circumference of the lake is presumably 82 km, and it demands a minimum two hours to accomplish this part of the journey. (Weather Permitted). Overnight Stay. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight at Ashram guesthouse (dormitory room with common Tibetan toilet). - Taklakot to Lake Manasarovar: 88 km | one & half hour. - Elevation of Lake Manasarovar: 4550 m. | 14,925 fts - Circumference of the lake: 82 km | 4 hours (approx.) - Expected temperature: day time:- 10-15 degree Celsius | night time:- -3 to -4 degree. - Climatic condition: windy.

DAY 14:

LAKE MANASAROVAR – YAMA DWAR - DERAPHUK: ( 1ST DAY OF PARIKRAMA)

Today is the highlighted day of our journey. The most exciting part, sacred circumambulation around Kailash, commences today from Yama Dwara. Morning, after breakfast, we depart from lake strand to Yama Dwar (also called 'Tarboche' in Tibetan) that demands approximately one & half hour to reach there. We should make a brief halt in Darchen because some travel documents obtained from local Police and Army officials as well as we have to make group entry in the region. From Darchen, it is another half an hour to reach Yama Dwara. Our Yaks, porters and horses are waiting here for us. Those who are making circumambulation around Kailash on feet can instantly proceed for Deraphuk; rest of members can commence their journey after taking their horse/s and porter/s. The Total walk to Deraphuk is for 4 to 5 hours but the timing depends on your own pace. The route is quite easy, flat but mild ascend. Due to its extreme elevation, we feel tired while walking and need to have break very frequently. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight at Guesthouse (dormitory room with no toilet facility) - Lake Manasarovar to Yama Dwara: 45 km, 1 & half hour drive. - Yama Dwar – Dhriraphuk (10 km): 5 to 6 hours trek. - Elevation of Dhriraphuk: 4920 m./16,138 fts - Expected temperature: day time: 10 to 15 degree Celsius/night time: -5 to -8 degree. - Average climatic condition: windy and partly cloudy & rainy. NOTE: Those members, who are not participating for Kailash circumambulation, will return to Darchen from Yama Dwar and wait until other members come back from the circumambulation. - Overnight at Guesthouse at Darchen - Elevation of Darchen: 4664 m./15,285 fts. - Expected temperature: day time:- 10 to 15 degree Celsius/night time: -4 to -5 degree. - Average climatically condition: windy and partly cloudy

DAY 15:

DERAPHUK - KAILASH CHARAN SPARSHA - DERAPHUK: 2nd Day of Parikrama

Today is the most highlighted day of the journey. We will trek up to the holy foot of Kailash for Charan Sparsha. We will do Kailash Darshan from as nearest and safest point possible. ( This takes about 2-3 hours each way. Return back to Deraphuk. Overnight Stay. (Note: There is a deep ice glacier underneath the mountain with unseen deep crevasses ( Deep Holes) hidden in the fresh snow. Everybody must listen to the Tour leader and Sherpa team’s instruction and abide the same as neglecting it will be dangerous for oneself)

DAY 16:

TREK, DERAPHUK TO ZUTULPHUK: ( 3rd DAY OF PARIKRAMA)

Today you have to cross a significant distance through the rugged portion of the landscape around the mount Kailash before reaching Zutulpahuk. You have to commence your journey from Deraphuk very early in the morning. Right from the initial moment, the trail commences leading you rapidly up, however in between it turns into flat with gentle ascend. Up to Dolma-La (5600 m.), the path keeps you taking up & up. Dolma La is the highest bit of this journey. From here onward, the trail leads you all the way down to the valley floor. This particular portion of the trek is a rapid incline and the track is full of boulders and screes, so one should pay continue attention while trekking down. While descending from Dolma La, we will pass alongside a small glacial pool, which is almost frozen during May through September. This is Gaurikunda. The legend of this pool is connected with Mata Parvati, the consorts of lord Shiva. Once we make descend journey to the valley floor, the trail becomes flat & easy. The trail is easy and flat up to the Zutulphuk. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight Mud house - dormitory. - Dhiraphuk to Zutulphuk: 21 km | 8 - 9 hours trek. - The highest point to cross over: Dolma La pass (5600 m. | 18,368 fts) - Elevation of Zutulphuk: 4820 m. | 15,810 fts. - Expected temperature: 10 to 15 degree Celsius | night time: -3 to -5 degree. - Average climatic condition: windy

DAY 17:

MANSAROVAR – TAKLAKOT: ( PARIKRAMA FINISHES)

After breakfast we trek for about 6 km to reach Zongdau (the ending point). It takes around 3 hours to reach the ending point. We will pick you up from Jongdau and proceed to Holy lake mansarovar. If time permit, we will do Puja at Mansarovar. Later proceed to Taklakot for overnight stay. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight stay at Guesthouse (Mud house)- dormitory. - Zutulphuk to ending point (Jongdau) | 6 km | 3 hours - Ending point to lake Manasarovar: 45 km | 1 hour - Elevation of Lake Manasarovar: 4550 m. | 14,925 fts - Taklakot Guesthouse - Lake Manasarovar to Taklakot: 88 km | one & half hour. - Elevation of Taklakot: 4025 m. | 13202 fts.

DAY 18:

TAKLAKOT- SIMIKOT

Morning; drive to border (HILSA), fly to Simikot. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - Overnight stay can be in Simikot due to weather conditions - Hilsa- Simikot by Helicopter: 25 minutes

DAY 19:

SIMIKOT- NEPALGUNJ- KATHMANDU

Morning, fly to Kathmandu via Nepalganj. If weather is clear then we reach to Kathmandu on same day otherwise might have to stay in Nepalganj Simikot- Nepalgunj: 45 minutes by flight - Nepalgunj- Kathmandu: 1 hour by flight

DAY 20:

KATHMANDU :

After breakfast, Visit Patan Darbar and Doleshwar Mahadev. ( This sightseeing is complimentary from us and only will be done if group arrives on time to Kathmandu from Kailash yatra. This day might be used as reserve day) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 21:

KATHMANDU- UK:

After breakfast. Drop to the airport to catch your return flight back to home. (Breakfast)
